Cydni Tetro

Chief Executive Officer

Cydni Tetro, CEO of Brandless, is an innovator of experience, a growth leader, technologist, STEM advocate, author, and speaker. She recently raised $118M, the largest fundraise led by a woman in Silicon Slopes. Brandless is a mission-driven omni-channel commerce platform that is growing through technology and the acquisition of mission-driven brands. Prior to that she was CEO of ForgeDX, a customer acceleration platform used by companies like Verizon, Adobe, Microsoft, Dell. She was also founder and CEO of 3DpulsMe, a 3D printing personalization platform, where you could become an Ironman action figure. She spent 5 years at Disney in Imagineering leading technology commercialization and building technology businesses inside Disney, including with Theme Parks, ESPN and ABC. She is founder and President of the Women Tech Council. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s in computer science from BYU.

Matt Durham

President

Matt Durham is currently the President at Brandless and Vice President at Clarke Capital Partners. His career has been predominantly focused on the consumer sector, with primary experience meeting at the intersection of investing in and operating consumer product brands. A people-first, results oriented leader, Matt is highly respected for his ability to create a strong team culture while advancing the organization’s capabilities to scale and accelerate growth, which has led to progressive go-to-market approaches and ultimately, unprecedented business results.

Prior to joining Brandless & Clarke Capital, Matt ran $100M to billion-dollar iconic American Brands like Tylenol, Visine, Lactaid, and others at Johnson & Johnson’s U.S. Self Care/OTC business. His team drove double digit growth on every business they worked on over the six years he was there. He also oversaw multiple acquisition and divestiture opportunities, including the acquisition of the Zarbee’s Naturals brand, which he then ran and subsequently more than doubled in less than a year and a half. Zarbee’s became the highest performing acquisition for J&J for two years in a row.

Earlier in Matt’s career, he worked at Goldman Sachs in the asset management division, which focused on utilizing fundamental research to target businesses with favorable growth and conducted bottoms up research to ensure the companies had attractive value. This experience was the initial catalyst to his own investing and entrepreneurial endeavors in launching, buying, and selling his own businesses. These experiences and more have given him a uniquely strong background that enables him to drive top & bottom-line business growth and play a valuable role in acquiring, integrating, and scaling businesses.

Matt earned his MBA from Brigham Young University, as a Hawes scholar and student body president. He lived in Pennsylvania and Connecticut before returning to Utah with his wife, Anne, and their five beautiful children.

Robb Lund

Chief Financial Officer

Rob Lund joined Brandless in May 2021 as a consultant and then full time as the CFO in April 2022. As CFO, Rob is responsible for leading its finance organization and the supply chain and stewarding Brandless financial resources.

Rob brings deep financial management and global business experience to Brandless, having served in financial and operation leadership positions at various global public technology and consumer-based businesses like Instructure, USANA, and MonaVie. In addition, Rob worked earlier in his career at GE Capital, JC Penney, and Grant Thornton and worked as an adjunct instructor at the University of Utah.

Before joining Brandless, Rob served as both a fractional CFO to clients and as a Partner at Ampleo for seven years. Ampleo is a management consulting firm who focuses on providing fractional strategic CFOs to their clients. At Ampleo Rob was responsible for business strategy, research, and training of consultants, and was the Practice Lead for SaaS and Technology. During this time at Ampleo, Rob, as a fractional CFO, helped dozens of companies raise debt and equity, led their finance and accounting functions, and participated in several M&A transactions.

Rob earned a Master of Liberal Arts in Management with an emphasis in Finance from Harvard University, an MBA from Westminster College, and a BS in Accounting from the University of Utah. Rob is a certified Lean-Six-Sigma Black Belt.

Rob enjoys skiing and traveling with his wife and daughter as well as reading books about history and business biographies.

Stan Soper

Chief Legal Officer

Stan Soper graduated from Yale Law School in 1991 and from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in English, Magna Cum Laude with University Honors. Stan Soper was in private practice as a business and corporate lawyer for 6 years, representing a variety of clients in negotiating commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions and international matters. Later, he served as the General Counsel for Nutraceutical International Corporation from 1997 until 2020 (aside from an 18 month stint at an Internet startup he founded in 1999), eventually also assuming responsibility for its regulatory affairs and being appointed its Senior Vice President of International to manage its expansion and sales in 60 countries around the world. Stan Soper has completed over 60 acquisitions of domestic and international brands in the natural products industry. Stan Soper acts as the Chief Legal Officer of Brandless and its subsidiaries and functions as P&L owner for its manufacturing subsidiary.

Tara Rosander

SVP M&A Integrations

Tara is currently the head of M&A diligence and integrations for Brandless. Tara is an experienced builder, operator, and investor in early-to-growth stage companies in the technology and branded consumer segments. Tara led operations, investment practices, and fund management for Mercato Partners Traverse, providing top quartile returns to investors. She led operations and a successful M&A exit for 3DPlusMe and worked with founders and CEOs of some of Utah’s leading tech companies on strategic organizational development and building out process and structure to achieve acceleration at scale. Tara currently serves on the boards for Women’s Tech Council and venturecapital.org.

Tara’s loves are connecting with family and friends, experiencing the World through travel and cheering on her two daughters from the sidelines.

Adam Casto

EVP Business Development & Corporate Marketing

Adam joined Brandless in November 2021 as the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Marketing. Adam brings expertise in sales team development, revenue channel management, brand strategy, market positioning, and industry and customer relationship building and retention. Adam is directly responsible for developing and managing systems, processes and teams for all corporate sales and business development initiatives, which includes sourcing for M&A activity; lead generation and sales development for our internal contract manufacturer (TNT) and Amazon agency (Product Labs); and development of the retail channel sales strategy as a key component of the corporate omni-channel growth platform. Adam was also recently assigned executive sponsorship and P&L responsibility over the acquired nutraceutical supplement brand, the Ambrosia Collective.

Prior to joining Brandless, Adam was the Chief Revenue Officer at XOLogic, a Product Information Management (PIM) & Multi-Channel eCommerce SaaS software company, where he architected and operated a revenue engine that achieved record-setting annual revenue growth during his nearly five-year tenure, positioning the company for acquisition by Fullsteam Holdings in 2021 for 10x ARR. Adam also spent eight years as the Executive Vice President of Business Development for MediConnect Global, Inc., where he personally closed agreements with four of the five largest health payers in the United States, and his team brought on more than 10,000 user accounts across five different industry verticals. Adam was a key member of the senior executive team that achieved over 1,500 percent revenue growth, which led to its acquisition by Verisk Analytics in 2012 for $380M. For his efforts, Adam was awarded Utah Business magazine’s Sales and Marketer of the Year (SAMY) award.

Adam’s other past experiences include two years as the Chief Revenue Office at DevonWay, an international ERP SaaS solution for the nuclear and renewable power industries; nearly four years as a founding Partner and Executive in Residence at Rees Capital, specializing in angel investing and advisory services and early-stage technology companies; and more than six years in advertising and marketing communications as a Brand Development Manager for Richter7, a successful integrated marketing agency.

Adam earned a marketing degree from Weber State University, where he was both an athletic and academic all-conference athlete and captain of the Wildcats’ football team. Outside of work, Adam loves to spend time outdoors and on his boat with family and friends. He is married to Maryann and together they have five beautiful children.

August B. Toscano

EVP, Head of People

August has worked for Fortune 100 companies such as ExxonMobil, PepsiCo, and Citigroup. He is a seasoned Human Resources Executive, who has served as Chief Human Resources Officer, as Executive Corporate Liaison to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, and as President of a Corporate Charitable Foundation. He has experience in domestic and international settings and assignments, multiple sites, union and non-union environments, and internal and external economic crises.

August’s career spans across a variety of industries including: Energy — oil and gas; Chemicals — consumer and industrial; Consumer Products — food, snacks, and beverages; Retail — convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarkets; Manufacturing — non-durable consumer goods; and Financial Services — corporate, commercial, and consumer lines of business.

Prior to joining BrandlessTM, August served as consulting partner at Workplace Advisors, LLC. Prior to that role, August served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Regions Financial Corporation, where he led the human resources function for the company’s East Region, comprised of $44 billion in assets, 4,000 employees, and 563 banking offices in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, E. Tennessee, and Virginia. Prior to joining Regions, he served as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., a company at the time comprised of 1,500 stores, 120,000 employees and $15 Billion in annual sales.

As Executive Vice President, Head of People at BrandlessTM, August helps the company develop people- related solutions in order to predictably achieve mission-critical objectives. His primary areas of responsibility are human resources policies and practices; human resources metrics and efficiency; creation of human resources policies and establishment of human resources practices; performance management; compensation and benefits; tactical and strategic human resources plans; leadership assessment and development; organizational effectiveness; corporate culture assessment and building; integration of corporate culture, norms, and values into human resources processes, practices, and procedures.

Caith Chapman

SVP, Mergers & Acquisitions

Caith has more than 20 years of consumer internet and investment banking experience as an operator, founder, and executive and has executed more than 50 acquisitions across Digital Media and eCommerce. He began his career with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Robertson Stephens followed by several years at Yahoo! focused on business operations and strategic development across several of the largest Yahoo! media properties including Yahoo! Sports, Entertainment, and Games.

After Yahoo! Caith has focused his career on institutionally-backed startups and mid-sized companies including Demand Media, MapMyFitness / UnderArmour, and Tastemade with an emphasis on Corporate Development and business unit ownership. Prior to joining Brandless at the end of 2021 Caith co-founded and led two private equity backed eCommerce companies and completed more than 15 acquisitions of Shopify and Amazon businesses in the US and Europe.

A midwest native Caith has lived and worked in New York, Baltimore, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle and has happily called Austin, TX home for the last 10 years.

Brad Moss

Chief Amazon Officer

Brad is an experienced c-level business executive and board member. Over the past decade, he’s been at the forefront of eCommerce selling, brand building, and technology. Coming from inside Amazon, where he ran the platform that now sells over $300B/yr, he has operated and supported multiple businesses from the ground floor to over $1B in value. He has a passion for ‘acquisitions done right’. As part of the Brandless Executive team, he spends majority of his time on interpreting Amazon, and creating long-term strategic vision for continued growth. Brad has a BA from the U of U and his MBA from Brigham Young University.

Ann Dalton

Ann Dalton has spent her career in the creative brand, product creation, and marketing spaces. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and has both created and supported rapid growing brands with story, innovation, product development, and in bringing personality and life to brands - helping drive engagement.

After spending several years supporting dozens of small businesses and their growth and marketing engines, she created a “parasite” business creating supportive marketing and promotional materials and products for Scentsy, Inc with a tools business that was ultimately acquired by Scentsy.

Upon integrating the tools business into the broader Scentsy company as they pursued international expansion, Dalton left to create Perfectly Posh - a spunky social selling business in the direct sales space. The brand, unique and trend-forward clean beauty products, as well as the message and mission of the company were both the brain child and under the stewardship of Ann as the business catapulted to $140 million in sales with over 80,000 distributors in it’s first five years in just the USA.

In her nearly 10 year tenure as Founder & CEO of the brand, she also enjoyed expanding product lines, creating and executing out-of-the-box events, traveling, networking, and speaking as she collaborated with thousands of entrepreneurial women.

She was also able to work closely with women and organizations in the Perfectly Posh supply chain network, including the Global Shea Alliance to establish and build a shea butter warehouse and processing center for a village cooperative of 600+ women in northern Ghana. In 2021, Dalton joined the Brandless team to bring innovation and quality to their product line.

In her spare time, Ann loves to spend time with her husband and three sons. She loves to run, eat amazing food, travel, and pursue rare art history and WWII documentaries.
